Tales of horror caused by a drug that has been around since the 1960's. Why is it only now, 40 years after methamphetamines first appearance that such a soul consuming drug has been targeted by the government? Well your a little late but nonetheless the time has come. There still may be hope.....maybe.......not........what are the long term affects to these child addicts?
Crack cocaine raveges the brain with long term damage to serotonin production and it is said that still today 2.2% of American high school seniors have tried it. This astounding fact is made even more frightening when one realizes how prevalent it is in society.
During the 1980's & 90's foreign nations actively exported drugs to North America for profit. The net result is the undermining of our society. Cocaine and heroin are prime examples. Today however we have organized gangs i.e.: bikers, mafia, etc.... creating drugs from within our society and achieving the same net effect. Now not only are we bombarded with garbage from abroad but from within. Strange days indeed.
