Utilized by the managerial cast this shaping of debate protects cocooned leaders who can then debate falsehoods in protected bubbles. To foster the benefits of contained debate media outlets shape the optics of coverage. Thus the protective ring around leaders expands to include media. Discourse of power then revolves around terms defined by power and accepted by mangement then dispersed by media. The result upon the public is the hijacking of truth. Truth is replaced with interest. What is power but the justification of coersion - covert or otherwise.
