Histrionic Deja Voodoo

Ego is the false center from which we operate.

Forgetting determines who you are as much as those thoughts you hold dear. What filters those unwanted memories. What edits them into the mental recycle bin. How is it that forgetting shapes the now. Freud said humans were shaped by largely unconscious factors. What compensatory models shape our condition? Like a coerced-internalized false confession
what cues the internal editing process we call memory? If tradition is weak and instinct weaker where does man stand? We are what we are not. What thoughts have you not acknowledged or forgotten....more importantly why?

"Forgetting of myself
My head reclined on my beloved
The world was gone
And all my cares at rest
Forgotten all my grief among the lilies."
St. John The Ascent of Mount Carmel

The Wasichus have put us in these square boxes. Our power is gone and we are dying, for the power is not in us any more. You can look at our boys and see how it is with us. When we were living by the power of the circle in the way we should, boys were men at twelve and thirteen. But now it takes them much longer to mature. Well, it is as it is. We are prisoners of war while we are waiting here. But there is another world.
Black Elk 1833

"And at this stage in human civilization, the choices reach as far as literal survival."
Noam Chomsky Oct 2004. See entire text @ www.chomsky.info
The "War on Terrorism" and the New Rules of World Order.

"We are caught in a situation in which every citizen of every country, his children, and his life's work, are threatened by the terrible insecurity which reigns in our world today. The process of technological development has not increased the stability and the welfare of humanity. Because of our inability to solve the problem of international organization, it has actually contributed to the dangers which threaten peace and the very existance of mankind"
Open Letter to U.N. Albert Einstein 1947.
